*the books in my TBR pile give a sigh, knowing that they'll be shoved down a layer when it arrives, as a Mary Russell book doesn't even get put in the pile, but goes straight to the "currently reading" docket.*

The description sounds wonderful -- and with (hopefully) more mystery elements that the previous (which I enjoyed, but it was only glancingly a mystery).

So far, I've liked all of that series except THE MOOR, which felt info-dumpy to me...maybe because I just couldn't get into her research.

Alas, I am waaay behind on my book pile 'cos last time you mentioned Laurie King I went out and bought "The Beekeeper's Apprentice"...and have yet to read it. Gasp! LOL After I'm finished with my next two books, I'll have to take a look at Ms. King's book.
