As I'm returning back to submarine duty in May I remember the old saying from my previous sub tour: One ship, one screw, one shaft ... taken back aft. What have you done to me Laura Anne? Exposing me to all of these people and their progressive philosophies? Why do I wax liberal in the middle of my military career? I'm supposed to be conservative, right wing and pro-regurgative!---oh yeah, the lifting of the veil...<--- many thanks.

You know, I once (long ago) saw Robin Williams doing a side-splitting routine that was basically "what if Jesus came back as Charles Bronson and he was pissed -- and armed?" I've thought of that routine a lot during the Bush administration....

Sigh. I swear, Bush (and his government) suffer from attention defecit disorder. "We're going after bin Laden! Ooooh, look, Iraq! Well, we're making Iraq a democratic... Oooh, Iran! Bin Laden? Who's he?"

And who doubts that if they start going after Iran they'll drop Iraq and the mess there like a hot potatoe.
