*snicker* Yep, that was a fun episode. We haven't seen that side of Daniel in a very long time. And Vala amused the heck out of me.

and "Atlantis" just stole a verbal and sight gag directly from a ST movie ("everyone remember where we parked"). Ya gotta love genre that knows its own history, even (especially) the corny parts of it.

Claudia Black has been signed for 5 episodes next season (so far), so Vala will be back. :)

Which is great, because she and Shanks had a phenomenal amount of chemistry. That was probably the most I've enjoyed SG-1 in at least a season.

BTW, I don't know if they showed it (our DVR slipped on the preview), but next week's has Wayne Brady playing a Jaffa. :)

Although I really wanna hear Jack tease Daniel about getting kidnapped (again) after they get back. Because it's evil fun.
