lagilman: coffee or die (meerkat coffee)

One of the bonuses of moving to the west coast is a bunch of new conventions become my "locals" - including Norwescon, the weekend of April 2nd-5th.

So if you're going to be there too, and find yourself shut out from all the GRRM-y GoH goodness by the crowds, here's where I'll be....  (all rooms final only after we're actually in them..check your schedule for last-minute changes!)

(I may have raised my hand for this panel so fast I threw my shoulder out...)

On Sunday I'll be participating in the Writer's Workshop, and then heading for home, so if you're going to catch me it'll have to be at breakfast..... (yeah, breakfast on the Sunday of a convention. We'll be the ones with our faces down in the bowls of coffee...)

lagilman: coffee or die (meerkat coffee)
Yesterday I had the renewed revelation that when I get my backside out of bed and at the desk by 7ish AM, by noon I'll generally have logged a full day of work (presuming the average 9-5er only actually works ~4 hours, which studies have asserted). That allows me to either do more work in the afternoon, or do things non-work-related (aka 'relaxing').

When I DON'T hit the desk in the morning, though? No matter how many hours I work I still feel like I screwed up/didn't get anything done. And generally I'm NOT as efficient.

So here I am, at my desk, working. Adulting at its finest.

(the promise of a nap around 2pm is also adulting at its finest. Shut up, it is.)
