Waking up without the thought of "I still have X more pages to revise" is nice, I will say that. Yes, there's still another read-through to do, but that's in a line-edit fashion, and I'm not sick of the book yet, so it's all good. Also: it's not due back for another week and a half. I am On Top Of Things!
Well, I'm on top of THAT thing, anyway.
This week I face:
-ETA: the launch of PRACTICAL MEERKAT'S 52 BITS via BookView Cafe. Tomorrow. ACK!
-ETA2: the copyedit approval of "Any Brave Boy"
-the final polish of "Negotiations"
-the final polish of "From Whence You Came."
- revising "Dirt On Their Hands" or whatever it ends up being called
-starting to poke at turning the above three into nicely-formatted ebooks
-writing All The Thank You Stories (three variations, individualized 90+ times)
- tax prep (uggggggggh)
-editing the short stories that came back revised in the past week+
-medical stuff (both vet-related and human... it's time for the quarterly visit to the vamps)
-laundry
-getting my head back into Portals #1 and picking up that deadline
-writing another 2-3k on Operation Oy (aka the not-so-sekrit but still-shhh project) before it goes to madame agent on Friday.
- oh yeah, that final polish of Dragon Justice
and whatever stuff that will inevitably hit when I'm not looking.
And all this has to get done because next week... I can start expecting the revision notes on the mystery project. And that will have a speedy-ass turnaround expectation.
Um. Yay for being busy?
