Clarion write-a-thon update, day 12
Jul. 8th, 2011 10:40 amAnd lo, she did actually manage to get her morning writing in. Mainly because it's so humid, sitting in font of the A/C and typing is about all she can manage. OMG so icky outside...
But now there must be Other Writing, and Freelance, and then I am off to pick up a wayward package at the airport and then there's the signing tomorrow afternoon, so y'all have a good weekend, and I'll see ya on Monday!

Starting point: 1,100 words of outline
Goal: 20,000 words of story
Thursday: 580 and some backstory edits
Total words: 6,954
Research: more timeline jiggering, wondering if I'm going to have to haul out my old college texts.
Excerpt:
"Why can’t this book ever say what it means, instead of making me chase it down like a goose?”
Dead Bodies: none, but the scent of blood in the air
Wardrobe changes: more dirt under her nails and on the soles of her feet.
Things magical: oh yes.
