lagilman: coffee or die (bye-bye)
It is a bright, warm, and Not Raining Saturday morning. Therefore we are about to get on the bikes and head out to the beach. No, not to sunbathe, although I will be bringing a towel and sunscreen - there is a beachfront seafood shack at the end of our journeys....

10 miles each way. For fun. Because we can. Who am I and what have I done with me?

*restriction ends at 11:59pm.

Dim the lights and play the sax down low.... the house band is no more. *mourns*.

EtA: and only now am I really starting to understand that although Bruce will probably tour again, there will be no more E Street concerts. They kept going after Danny (Federici) died of cancer in 2008, but... without the Big Man, there isn't an E Street any more. You can't replace the sound or the Man. I can't imagine Bruce even trying.

No more tent show rock and roll revival meetings. *is sad, not for herself, but for anyone who never saw the magic come alive*
