I know there's been a lot of chatter on-line about the floods in Australia. It's horrible, and terrifying, and heart-rending.

What I haven't seen is any talk about the floods in Brazil, where - at last count - nearly 400 people have died through floods and mudslides. And it's not over yet.

We have the capacity for empathy, but it is limited by what our systems can take, before we overload and shut down.

But tonight? Say a prayer for the folk of Brazil, if you can, if you will.
