lagilman: coffee or die (no holiday music)
#snowpocalyose verdict: based on walking outside, I'd say 8-10" in this neighborhood. Significant, but not really a 'pocalypse or even a snowmageddon. Main street is blacktop [the advantage of being on an emergency vehicle route], others slushy and slow.

Most of the sidewalks are cleared or being cleared: building management knows their tenants -- we have a lot of older folk who WILL get up and walk every morning, weather be damned. Parking is... well, it depends on when the plows come through the side streets, and how many people will be smart enough to move their cars. If soon, and smart, then we should be back to normal by mid-afternoon. Sadly, the snow appears too dry to pack well. No snowball fights. I have hopes of a few snowfolk, once it warms up a bit for melt.

It's really very pretty outside, but I didn't take photos because nothing really struck me as more than "oh, pretty, snow." And y'all know what it looks like, right?

And now I must away, for there are people slogging through the snow this afternoon, and I must feed and entertain them.

(okay, I'm feeding them, Boomer's in charge of entertainment..)

How'd everyone else in the stormpath do, snow-wise?
