I'm fine, if a little shaken. The fixture (heavy tempered glass that, for the record, didn't even chip) missed me by inches. The folks say they were planning to update the bathroom anyway but I still feel guilty somehow...

In happier news, Mei-Chan has a purple wubbie now. Much improved over the old pink one. I think she, wubbie, and I are going to go in search of a good piece of chocolate, now. Nerve tonic. I think it's warranted.



And, on a slightly related-to-the-first note, a bit of outrage/

WASHINGTON — As the health care debate heats up, the American Medical Association is letting Congress know that it will oppose creation of a government-sponsored insurance plan

AMA = Part of the Problem, Now.

Apparently they're willing to opt out of the existing plans because it costs them too much money/time/effort to participate, but they don't think their patients should have a system _they_ can afford to use, rather than opting out of medical care entirely, or going bankrupt trying to pay their fees. Fkcuers.
