lagilman: coffee or die (I rawk)
A previously written scene that I thought was all about supporting the B plot? Just turned out to be the key to the A plot.

Oh, so very very pretty. And totally unsticks me from where I was stuck.

and pretty phrase d'jour, because it tickled me: "No matter how sure you were you knew where you were, most of the time, you weren’t."

In other news, who the fkcu brought back summer, and when will they be picking it up again? Soon, please. kthnxbi.

"I just finished a new proposal."
"Oh, for the next Retrievers book?"
"No, that one's already been handed in."
"I thought you were writing that one?"
"No, that's Book 6, which is the last under contract."
"So which one's out now?"
"Book 4. Book 5 is handed in. Book 6 is being written."
"So how's Book 4 doing?"
"Oh god I have no idea, that was years ago."

All projects included, today has been a solid 5,000 word day.

Words is tiring. I sleep now. Or veg in front of teevee.
