lagilman: coffee or die (bored now)
I am not going to post anything interesting about writing, the art or act of.

You sit down. You tell a story. You do it any damn way it comes out that works consistently for you.

You hope people like it. You hope people pay you for it.

You do it again.

And again.

That's all I got. Zen and the art of Writer Maintenance. You can cheer me on and I can cheer you on, but in the end? In the end it's down to how you get your getting done, done.

So get it done.

lagilman: coffee or die (90 days)
Two weeks in and a progress report: 10,900 words (rounded to nearest hundred), out of a projected 100,000.

I missed one day, for mental health reasons. Including that, I'm averaging 772 words. If I back out the missed day, I'm averaging 830 words. Small, steady bites...

Meanwhile, the proofs for BURNING BRIDGES are close to being done. When you hear the *pop* of the sparkly being opened, you'll know I've hit the last page...
