I am home. I have appeased kittens. I have downloaded mail and responded to a bunch of it -- the rest is coming, I promise. And I have dealt (as much as I can) with the have-to-call-landlord problems (don't ask. really. Just... don't ask).

Many thanks to them as hosted me, them as feted me, them as came out and mocked me during my readings (you know who you are) and them as are buying/will buy the books I've left signed in my wake across the greater Chicago area...

I need to go pour myself a glass of wine and put my feet up for the evening. Trip reports to come.

And I just got the initial sketch for BURNING BRIDGES. There are, as always, wee* factual errors in the depiction, but it so totally rocks I don't care.

I can't share it just yet, but when I get the okay, it will be posted, yahyoubetcha. 



*wee as in, 'well, pretty much everything except the location is wrong.  And even that's not 100% right'
