famous alum, moi?
May. 15th, 2006 11:06 amApparently, so, according to this entry for Columbia High School. (which also has a lot about the gorgeous if decaying bulk of the school itself. No wonder I have such a fondness for architecture, having spent four years roaming the halls of that building, soaking it up without even really realizing it...)
But, seriously: being named however unofficially in the same list as Alfred Kinsey (yes, that Kinsey), Roy Scheider, Robert Sternberg, Frank Langela, Max Weinberg, Joel Silver, Liz Shue, Lauryn Hill and many others is pretty cool, no? Jaysus but there was a lot of talent passing through those halls...
I also note that the fencing team, whcih I helped bring into existence (and managed for the year after my knees went) is now one of the largest in the nation, with the boys team is consistantly ranked among the top in the state, and the girl's team winning the state championship several years in a row. Go, Cougars!
