I've sent off my comments to the folk involved, both pro and con. Hopefully, those who should feel embarassed, will, and those who put their feet down and said "gimmie a fricking break" will know that their common sense was noted and appreciated.

And now I have to go back to worrying about impeding transit strikes, the so-called Patriot Act extension, federal eavesdropping without a warrant, and how long I can stockpile cold meds before the government comes to get me...
