Home from Philcon

As the header says, home from Philcon to a bed full of cats all sniffing and meowing anxiously. Poor abandoned things, left alone for all of 24 hours...


A good time, for all that it was brief: saw many folk I don't get enough chance to see (*waves to the LJers still down there*), had good food and good company and interesting panels and excellent single malts. People attending my reading, and books were sold and signed. And the ride down and back was totally traffic and snow-free.

Now I needs must collapse, for tomorrow I am back to the grind...

And Richard Pryor has died. Not unexpected, but still a sad loss. He was one messed up m**********r, but a funny one, for all that. And we need more laughter-from-truth in the world, always.
