Take the quiz: "What does your birth month reveal about you?"

Hrm. About 70% true. I leave it to the reader to determine which 70%.

Edited to add: Gee, seems like a lot of March babies on my f-list! Consider this a blanket happy birthday! before I forget. :-)

And nearing the final push on the revisions -- unless that's not light, but an oncoming dragon... ulp.

are done.

*falling over in puddle of mental exhaustion*

Now to put it aside and let it rest for a few days, before I give it the final once-over (and, hopefully, have members of CGAG do the same).

Perfect timing, since a non-fiction project that's been on hold for a year (literally -- I handed it in to the publisher, on deadline, in March 2004) has suddenly risen from the dead and is demanding some of my time. Excuse me while I change hats and get out the bullwhip...

But first, I'm going to go out and mingle with people. Scary, I know. I might even... go see a movie. *cue screams of fear and astonishment*

Some of you may have hear me mention Persephone, or have heard rumblings about it from other sources.

Short version: Persephone is a professional advocacy organization for women who write in or about "dark" literature, which in this instance covers everything from traditional horror to a nicely creepy mystery to a non-fiction book or series of articles about the same.

For more information, you can slide on over to [livejournal.com profile] persephone_lj. Our website, http://www.persephonewriters.org/, should be active in the next week or so.

As the membership chair (for my many, many sins) I can say now that membership information (the who, how, and how much) will be posted once the site is operational. For those who've already asked, Persephone is a professional writers' organization, so yes, there are publication requirements.

More to come.
