Otherwise, my big accomplishment today so far as been to drink tea and chew on a baguette. Soup may occur at some point in the future, if I can talk the cats into making it for me. No so much sick as just out of charity with my operating system.

Revisions continue, nonetheless, and the copyedit has arrived and is waiting its turn on my desk. The kittens are being cute on the sofa next to me while I work. They're playing a weird form of 'slap,' where one of them will reach out a paw and wait, then when the other reaches out a paw to touch, they see who can slap at the other and pull back first.

All very gentle, no claws, no hissing... just open-paw slapping.

And they're both half-asleep, eyes slitted, which makes it even more cute.

It also makes me want to take a nap. Okay, at this point, everything makes me want to take a nap.

Calling all mock-monkeys!

I'm far too tired to do this the justice it deserves. So I hereby give it to you intact, unmocked, in all its sad, sad glory, and let you do it.
