There had been a lot of discussion recently about his ill health, so this isn't a surprise except that anyone as creative, generous and vibrant as Buz was supposed to live forever, damn it.

That is all.

In Boston...

Specifically, at Boskone, and having odd flashbacks to this summer's WorldCon, which was (partially) held in the same venue.

This happens when I'm at Philcon, too -- I keep having flashbacks to the MilPhil WorldCon and thinking people who aren't present, should be.


Well, damn it, people who aren't here should be. Why aren't you?



And now, fortified with single malt and mexican food, I go off to look at the revision letter, which finally arrived this afternoon.


Oh. And was handed my "MaltCon 05" badge when I arrived, and was amused to discover that I was the model for this year's visual. Or, more specifically, my hand was, caught in the act of holding a glass of Damn Fine Malt at Philcon.

Once more makes it a fannish tradition...
