Charles grant update
Mar. 18th, 2004 07:29 amGot e-mail from Kath late last night, the upshot of which is that Charlie's off sedation and awake and alert!
*and there was much cheering!*
Also, his mother's funeral (I can't remember if I posted that here or not... she had gone into the hospital last week as well, and died earlier this week, at the age of 91) will be held this Friday at 1pm at Prospect Hill Cemetary in Caldwell. In lieu of flowers, donations to the West Caldwell Animal Hospital (706 Bloomfield Ave., West Caldwell NJ 07006) would be appreciated. Arrangements are by the Dancy funeral home in Caldwell.
also from her e-mail:
"oh yeah, c asked if someone knew, and i said yes. and i told him that we had told everyone. and he kept tapping out names. did so and so know? yup? and this person? definitely. he tried about 10 different names, and i said each time the person knew. he was amazed.
thanks for all your support. i truly truly appreciate it. i hope that he can come home soon. of course, i have no idea when that will be.
thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
