I've decided, now that I actually have *hgasp* a spare hour in the week, I'm going to get back on the regular reading-for-pleasure-and-mental-expansion thing. And I'm going to inflict it on you, too.

Currently re-reading Lois Bujold's CURSE OF CHALION, which I read in manuscript form, got the hardcover, and never had a chance to read in final form. Only doing a chapter here and a chapter there, though, since I remember what happens and can take my time.

Also reading WHAT'S NEXT? Women Redefining their Dreams in the Prime of Life, by Rena Pederson. A little too faith-based for my comfort, but interesting nonetheless. I had picked it up a year or so ago, when I first started to think a change was coming into my life, but couldn't quite bring myself to start reading until the change occured. Did you guys know that Julia Child didn't take her first cooking class until she was my age (36)? I mean, she cooked before then, of course, but...

Was going to start another book this weekend, but think shovelling will be using that spare hour and then some...

Wottinhell you mean you're 36? Not possible. You're still 27.

Badger, firmly fixed at age 34 for the duration
