Katie said, "I have been a happy reader of Laura Ann Gilman (sic) since I first discovered her, but this collection of stories increased my admiration of her skill. Short stories require a different crafting than novels, and these are diverse and powerful nuggets. At one point I forgot these were all Gilman's and actually looked to see who had written each story, as if this was an anthology. Highly recommended and very tasty!"
