Props to Roc author Carol Berg! Her Song of the Beast just won the 2004 Colorado Book Award for SF/F. This is a literary prize sponsored by the Colorado Endowment for the Humanities.



Yeah, I do still take pride in "my kids," why do you ask? *grin* Especially regarding the projects I worked on.

And I loved that book, too. Oh, the ANGST of it.

Heh. We took some flak for not making it more of a 'happy ending,' but I think the ending was just perfect, myself.

The ending was perfect except I wanted more, not because it necessarily NEEDED more but because I enjoyed the book so much.

Still, it's good to have a standalone as an intro to her other books.
