While I respect your knowledge, obviously, I'm also going to listen to my cat-specialist vet, who has actually handled him up close. I had said up front that his head was NOT the Bombay type (although he does have the short-muzzle breathing issue). His body type, when upright, is a dead ringer for pics of Bombays I've seen, and the vet concurred.
*shrug* He's mine, whatever he is.
He's definitely not 100% domestic shorthair, US or British. I've had a dozen or so of those in my life, and i can see the differences in his body shape.
