we don't actually go to Chinatown any more - the Gentiles have started showing up (we assume it was them, wearing Christmas sweaters and plush reindeer antlers) and making it too crowded to get a decent table. Excuse me while I wish they'd stick to their traditions and leave ours alone...
However there is a wonderful Sczechuan restaurant uptown we've ben going to for the past few years, where they know us and save us the same tables. So that's ok (although I miss wandering into the spice stores, beforehand, and kitchen-shopping).
