lagilmanBoomer did not entirely disgrace himself today - although he was VOCAL about how UNHAPPY he was to be there, god knows. He took his booster shots like a champ, managed to weigh in without protest (yep, still needs to lose a few pounds, so we're tweaking the diet again), and despite the pouring rain on the walk home, his delicate snowflake self did not melt.

But it was sobering to come out of vet's exam room to see large dog being carried in on makeshift stretcher - s/he just collapsed. Owner frantic. :-(
This trip only cost me $170. Which is good, cause I came home to my ConEd bill covering electricity use for the past few heat waves. *wince*
