Tasty tasty wine

Alas, I only bought two bottles when I was there, and I am drinking one. *sadboozypanda*

EtA: also, I believe I have finally made the perfect risotto, the one that matches my memory of the first perfect risotto in Italy (if completely unlike that risotto in almost every way).

I suspect I'll never be able to repeat it, so I am noting this moment for posterity.

I have a risotto recipe, based on Lidia's and tweaked in the Yellow Submarine kitchen, that is beautiful. It always works. Let me know if you would like it.

I have many excellent recipes, thankee kindly. It's the execution that has, until now, not satisfied me.

I am told that the taste is always good. But I am... perfectionist in pursuit of my risotto.

I'm afraid of making risotto. One day I'm going to try. I'm not in Oregon at the moment, but I plan to go in a couple of weeks. I may be able to find the wine. You might have to remind me.

Good risotto is easy enough, and quite enjoyable. Religious experience risotto is damned difficult.
