Okay, my brain has gone walkabout (after ten books in the series, I think it's allowed). Anyone remember in which Cosa Nostradamus novel a bay (sea) serpent got bribed into helping with a case with a sack of sausage?


First one with the info gets a character named for them in MILES TO GO.
