A common phrase in our house is "I can't move, I have a cat on me." It worked well when we had one cat, but once we got two (and three, and four) it often doesn't. "So, uh, do we need to call Eric and tell him to come over to fetch ice cream from the freezer?" "Don't be silly, reaching for the phone would disturb a kitty."

Such hard lives we lead. #rolls eyes#

In a friend's house: if you have a cat on you, you are becatted and can do light work like typing.

Two cats: Twice becatted, so you must sit still but can watch TV.

Three cats: thrice becatted and other people must bring you stuff, like tea.

We have a (partial) diagnosis of hypertension - have started treatment for that, looking to see if it's a primary (rare) or secondary (something else we still have to find, causing it)
