I was hoping to go, but my colleague was too generous with her cold germs, and I don't want to share them.

I hope your signing went really great today. I wanted to be there, but I've had these anxiety issues for the last few years, especially about going into Manhattan alone. I tried to tell myself to just forget about that and go, but I only got a few miles from home before I had to turn around and come back. I'm sorry!

I hope you had a lot of people show up and that you sold a lot of books!
