Two things of note.

A date I sort of 'missed' in the chaos.... on the 14th, I celebrated my eighth year as a full-time freelancer/microbusinesswoman.

And eight years ago today, my folks admitted what we'd been suspecting: that my dad, like his dad, had been diagnosed with Parkinson's.

November 2003 was a hell of a month. It's been a hell of an eight year run. But I'm still here, my dad's still here...

There's still much stuff to be Thankful for.
