Aug. 23rd, 2011 04:15 pmYeah, we felt it up here. No trauma, no damage no danger, just a pause of "huh....okay that's what that was" and then an hour or so of Twitter check-ins and sarcasm and jokes. Y'know, how we usually handle things.
Things are a bit grimmer down in the VA/DC area, unfortunately, where there's some report of damages to (both modern and historic) buildings. Before anyone in California snarks, a) we've seen how you guys react when it rains heavily, and b) keep in mind that the building codes out here are a bit different...
Otherwise, we had a bit of excitement, but nothing that will keep us fromworrying about Irene getting back to work....
