Yay for copy edits. Ian Whates at Newcon Press (http://newconpress.co.uk/) is usually on the look-out for quirky stories. I don't know what anthologies he's plotting at present, but he might be worth a query. (He's a good bloke and the anthologies are well-regarded.)
