I feel bad for Martin, who is a stand up guy and has done lots of things --not only national, but he's been involved locally at his hometown of Dayton too-- and he's saddled with Charlie for a kid.

The man is schizophrenic. I mean, he has bipolar disorder with schizophrenic manifestation. I know because I have had a few family members who were just like that (except poor white trash versions, ha) until they got on Lithium and/or whatever else they are now on. He needs a psychiatrist who has sense, and he needs it NOW.

I don't say this should excuse the crazy behavior, but I do think it explains it. The trainwreck can stop if someone will just DO SOMETHING.

Just IMO.

He may indeed have all of those things. He also has a long history of drugs, alcohol and abuse of women, and no desire to give any of that up.

Considering his family [reportedly sensible people who know the pressures of his career], the fact that he's been in rehab more than once, and has dissed AA as being useless, he has gotten treatment (including psych treatment), and more than once, and pissed on it.

What do you expect "someone" to do, beyond that? Lock him up for his own good?
