DRAGON VIRUS:
a tragedy in six evolutions
/ an evolution in six tragedies

(now available for pre-order from Fairwood Press)

This is what I'm calling a linked-story novella, although it can also be read as a collection, depending on how you approach it.  Some of the stories were previously published, some are all-new, and all have been reworked to, together, tell the story of The Change....  Is it really a tragedy?   That, m'dears, is for the readers to decide....

Congratulations! There's nothing quite like a new release, especially one that's so shiny. And red. Very, very red. :-) Three cheers.

Good. I want to buy everything I can get my hands on and put it on my Kindle. If they come out with a Kindle with a color screen, I might have to have two---one just for print books, the second for all the luscious art and sci fi books I dream of having in my (electronic) possession.

Sigh. If I were queen of the world.....I have this book called The Orient in Western Art and you would not believe....Oh, crap, I'm rambling again, aren't I? Sorry.

I hope more authors get into e-marketing their work. Cut out the middle man and I'm more than happy to shower money on writers more directly. Sorry. Shutting up now.

Yeah, that's the big thing. I'd like to see more authors being able to make a nice living and write more! What a concept. With my devotion to tiny things, though, I find that the more books I have on my Kindle the more I like it, particulalry since the idea of hauling around three thousand books with no more effort than it would take to pick up just one paperback never ceases to amaze me. There are some lovely print editions that I want and cherish, but that just means one's shelves are liberated from stuff that one doesn't need in the physical form. There is something so very very comforting and wonderful about being able to carry around a huge number of wonderful books and read them whenever one wants to. OMG. I mean, one could dream of the print editions that publishers could do in an ideal world....A while back a publisher issued some romance novels in the most enchanting format---a hardcover the size of a paperback. It was such a wonderful format that I bought it, because my hands just found the weight and heft and feel of it so impossibly attractive.

Okay I 'm not sure if it's too much caffeine or not enough, but I need a muzzle of some sort.
