After putting nearly 5000 words into the proposal/outline for Project A, and then getting another 7,500 words written on that, yesterday about 4,000 words dropped out of my brain on Project B.

This morning, woke up way too early, thinking about Project B. I already know from experience just to cancel any other plans I have, and let the book have its way with me today*. I either love or hate this part.

EtA: 1500 words before 9am. Ow. 3,000 at noon, and my brain said "enough" and fell over.

Even better, I also woke with a plan to deal with the needed research for Project A, so I can get back to it - and an e-mail from the first readers saying the tone of A (which I had worried about) was perfect.

Neither of these projects are anything other than a gleam of mischief in my eye, yet. But it's a nice way to spend the time while waiting for my revision letters.

Well, that and cooking/baking. Tis the season...

What's everyone else working on, this weekend? Who's writing/knitting/baking/building/wrapping what?

Yesterday, I woke up with the first scene of a newish idea in my head. I wrote it down and was a little late for work, but it was a day that I could be.

I'm knitting a scarf :) thanks for asking.

Cheesecake will be baked later, for a party tomorrow. I think I'll make an apple spice topping for it.

Do you have a favorite recipe?

I'm knitting a hamburger, writing an article, and editing a book about spiffing up the outside of one's house.

Happy writing!

I'm sitting here waiting for a firewood delivery that was supposed to have happened before noon. As soon as it shows up, there will be stacking of two cords of firewood. (It warms you twice--when you stack it, then burn it. Would be three times but we didn't split it!)

There might be cookies later. Not sure what we're doing for dinner.

I have more stuff to do this weekend than I have weekend to do it in. The holiday party season has started hereabouts. I have two events today, a brunch tomorrow (assuming my friend's kid is healthy enough for them to have guests; he was sick earlier this week), work to do for the day job, and a short story that needs a rewrite of its second half so I can get the damn thing in the mail this week. And gifts to wrap.

Whew!

We'll see what happens.

I am writing. And cleaning the kitchen tomorrow. Then I plan to cook. Probably I'll mess up the kitchen again! :)

lol - can't help w/ the cooking icon, I'm afraid.

I put together a recipe book on Shutterfly of all the recipes that I have to call my mother for when I can't find them.

I honestly would be interested in recipes using wine. I know you've got some ;-)

I am working the day jobs, writing when I can, and yesterday woke up from a dream that was full technicolor that needed written down so I could write it later cause it was just that damn interesting. over 12 hours later, things were still coming to mind that needed jotted down so I could remember them for later, so that may be a big project that I take some time out for to work on. after I finish book 1 and get the draft finished left over from NaNo on book 2. so that dream can be my new year's project. lol.

and yea, late response is late.
