Wish you could have been here (although how we could have shoehorned one more body into our tiny living room, I don't know. But you aren't that big...). Much screaming and laughing and commenting and staring in rapt attention. Discussion during the commercials,

I like the set ups, and, as always, the opener dives into the fun end of the pool. I'm hoping (because I'm just like that) we get into the emotional meat-and-potatoes before summer season ends. I mean, HELLO, DANGLY EMOTIONAL THREADS FROM LAST YEAR...

Although it was left in such a way that she's still a de facto member of the team ('cause she hates Sterling too) and may come back at any time....

It was actually a very nice leavetaking for her, with everyone getting the chance to say goodbye in the semi-casual way freelancers have, not "OMG buhbye!" but "okay, we might run into each other next week or ten years from now, good job, take care." And her exchange with Nate was surprisingly collegial, considering their respective head-thumping.
