July has been a hellish month in many ways, and I'm glad to see the end of it. I don't know that August will be much better, but it is after all the natal month for Staying Dead so that's got to count for something, right?


To that, three announcements.

1. The website has been updated. Yay me!

2. We weren't kidding about the tour shirts. Checkitout. Show your support for spreading a little Magic & Mayhem!

3. I will be in Boston on Thursday for WorldCon after all, so I will be able to make my reading at 1:30pm. Hope to see a few folk there, despite it being so early in the weekend. Show me the love, people!


If anyone wants to get together for a drink or dinner or whathaveyou at Noreascon4, now's the time to drop me a line -- the dance card already has a number of scribbles in it, including what appears to be the first annual Two Beers and a Story Challenge between myself and jaylake. Ohboy. Just shoot me now, okay?

Any idea yet when this will be taking place? arcaedia mentioned it to me, but I don't know if she knew a day/time (and she's off at RWA, so I can't just ask her).

Well, drat. I'll most likely be doing a Friday-Sunday trip, so I may
miss it, but I'll look forward to hearing about it.

That, or just using some random fan (or pro), seems like a good idea to me. I take it you'd be coming in with an idea of your own.

I went and bought the hoodie today. Love to wear those in layers when I walk in the fall and early winter, when it's still warm enough not to need a really warm winter coat.
