Past and Present, Personal
Apr. 21st, 2010 11:24 amso over on Twitter, to help celebrate a book release, there's a hashtag of #gimmeacall (advice to our high school/past selves).
I posted:
The bullies and the clique-ettes never go anywhere/achieve anything. You will.
The sadness never quite goes away. But you understand it better. And it's okay.

Managed about 1,500 words on TVW#3 this morning. Then, halfway through the mid-morning puppy-walk, my blood sugar crashed. No warning, no sense of the fuel tank running low, just between one step and the next: *bam* I was shaking and sweating and dizzy. That hasn't happened in a while. Made it home to a glass of oj and some hummus, and I'm fine. Have I mentioned lately that I hate my biochemistry?
(breakfast was coffee, and a small bagel w/ cheese. Dinner last night had been halibut, a green salad, and brown rice, with a glass of wine. All totally w/in the ordinary.)
I'm thinking that sitting in the Park, editing a manuscript, might be the right plan for this afternoon. Declined the Park for the Comfy Chair, out of direct sunlight. Freelance work, check.
