Meanwhile, 2nd night seder is done. People gone. Dishes cleared. Dog & I on sofa, peopled-out. To say that we are not a solemn people would be an understatement: conversation during the seder ranged from copy-editing the Hagaddah ["Query: Moshe is a Hebrew name. Why would an Egyptian princess use it for her adopted son?"] to snarking the Four Questions [History Major FTW, as I could give historical references]

Also, you know you have an interesting family when post-seder conversations involve true stories about Alice Cooper, boa constrictors, and terrifyingly funny airline disaster stories....

Also, when the food ranges from "damn that's good" to "OMG." I am pleased to say my matzo-crack toffee things found fans as well.

Home tomorrow, weather and floods willing. With luck, the felines will not have et the catsitter...

We were laughing last night at the creative English spellings in our copies of the Hagaddah. (I'm certain the Hebrew was well copy-edited.) We did not discuss Alice Cooper (FAIL) but we did eat incredible flourless chocolate cake with hand-whipped cream (WIN). But matzo-crack TOFFEE things?!? OMGYUMMMM!
