I've usually only been in work about an hour at this point. And I'm 5 time zones ahead of you.

I am so not a morning person - if I wake up naturally before 9 am, I wonder what's up.

One disconcerting thing about the Dublin trip for me was actually waking up in a room that had such thick curtains one could not tell if it was midday or midnight without opening them. Since herself was still asleep, I assumed it wasn't yet 6 am. Hah! - it was 8.

Dublin was pretty. Blame it.

Frankly, I was rather confused: it's supposed to be full of traffic, under grey skies, but all weekend we had clear blue ones, and there seemed to be a marked reduction in the number of vehicles. (Perhaps the Port Tunnel is helping on that last point.)

The weather, I'm told, was my fault. Even when there's a major blizzard the night before (as in the case of my sister's wedding), we almost always have lovely weather for Actual Events.

Dublin is always pretty when the sun is out. Pity it's a rare occurrence.

And the traffic is usually much better at the weekend, when fewer people commute (and all the culchies are off visiting family...)

I'd hate you more, but I just found out yesterday there's a very good chance I'll be doing to Dublin (and elsewhere in Ireland) in June. :)
