So, I will be presenting two workshops at the Liberty States Fiction Writers Conference in NJ this March:

A Writer Looks at Editing:
15 years as an editor before I turned to writing full-time gives me a rather interesting -- and very practical -- take on my job as writer. Let me help you help your editor.

Writing in More than One Headspace:
Long form, short form, e-pub, trad-pub, romance, fantasy, horror, non-fiction...is it really possible to have a spoon in too many pots? Or is it part of being a working writer in this modern world?

*rubs hand gleefully.*

In other news:

-the first short story of 2010 has been pronounced -- drafty but solid, with good bones. I find it somewhat amusing that I have slipped from writing about a world where magic comes from wine, to one in which it's Prohibition.
- I have acquired the last remaining bottle [in the store] of the 2007 Fixin I was lovin' on last month, plus some others from the same Domaine, and am pleased.
- groceries have been delivered, which means there is stew to be made before the root veggies take over the kitchen.
