How 'bout next week? Does next week look good?
Yesterday I wrote 2,200 words, did the final niggly query-bits on the copyedit, wrote the intro to a blog entry, pan-cooked chicken thighs in balsamic vinegar, and plotted the menu for this weekend's shindig. And took a walk. The walk was v. important.
Today I have to deal with one last query and then send back the copyedit (yay) and finish the blog entry (oy) andwrite a few thousand new words (written: 2,100), and re-read the submissions for writers group and then go to writers group.
Cake, piece of.

EtA: and Jim Hines is being smart about writing so I don't have to: "girl" books vs "boy" books. If you're not following him, you probably should be...
