good news, bad news...
Nov. 6th, 2003 09:02 amThe good news is that my writer-mind has almost emerged from the mud of inertia. I'm pleased.. I've missed it. On the way home last night had a thought about not only the novel but a story I've been trying to finish up -- sort of the same thought developed different ways for each piece. Didn't get to do anything with the thought, but it's still in the holding pen. So that's good.
The bad news is, I jsut realized I'm not going to be able to make the Oklahoma Writers Federation workshop this year, despite looking forward to it muchly -- it conflicts, I suspect, with a really important-to-me commitment in the City that weekend, namely the Revlon Walk for a Cure. More of which later.
*sigh* Hopefully they'll be understanding enough to invite me back next year.
And in other news, it continues to rain. And be unseasonably warm. Bleah. But we're promised cold weather for the weekend, so I'll be happy in anticipation of that.
