Greetings LJers!

So far I have

-been delayed in the airport by storms down south
-seen [livejournal.com profile] marinarusalka and The Boy, and been slept on by Other Peoples' Cats
-had a fabulous reading/signing at Mysterious Galaxy, and
-been taken out for fabulous Chinese dinner that couldn't be beat by [livejournal.com profile] wedschilde, [livejournal.com profile] heyoka and [livejournal.com profile] re_rahl
-been introduced to [livejournal.com profile] otterdance's Big Dog and Little Dog (and re-met her Spouse, Dr. Doug)
-figured out the metaphor for the werewolf story (now called "werelove")
-indulged my love for ginger beer and Greek food
- worked on Vineart 2
-been abandoned in the desert (okay, not really, we both made it out fine, if sunburnt)
-consumed dry-rub ribs and had my first glass of wine in a week (eeek!)

Tomorrow, more of the same, only different.

LAG contemplates the journey ahead...

the vista unfolds...

an alien flower survives the burn zone...
(me, post-hike, and an antelope ground squirrel of extreme cheekiness)

yep. i figured we'd stick with a nice solid food. anthony, our waiter, brought out a couple of things that weren't on the menu. ♥ it was very tasty.

golden city, clairemont mesa and kearney villa road in san diego, ca

godlike food. traditional hong kong style chinese food. a bit of mixed regions as well. they do a killer crab steamed over fried rice and lotus leaf. the orange beef is to die for. and i love their spicy salt tofu. very good comfort chinese food.

it's right down the road from MG. keep going east on clairemont mesa until you go over the 163. it's on your right hand side. you can either turn on kearney villa and make a U turn or turn left at the light and go around from the back. the mustang's turning radius could be better in making a U that street is very tight. firebird, not a problem. of course i was making sure they were following me.

Thanks, I'm sure I've driven past it a million times. I just tend to end up at Sipz 'cause it's right there, and tasty...

go the other direction :::grins::: if you're doing veggie, they have a gorgeous selection of veggie foods. and will vary it to spice levels.

also across the street, in the strip mall BEFORE the shogun is Suzuya, a gorgeous japanese yakiniku place.
