I wasn't able top get a photo of what (inevitably) happens next - Boomer trying to attack/groom my hair. It starts with a paw on my shoulder, trying to draw me to him....
This was the basis of our first meeting, in fact. He decided that my hair (at the time in a long braid) was HIS. And it needed grooming.
Apparently you are not the only one who has a flavor. This was taken shortly after a shower. I guess I missed a spot. (apologies if the image is ginormous. I'm posting from the LJ app for iOS and have no idea how it handles image resizing.)
A number of years ago, the local paper sent a photographer to my house for a pic to accompany an interview. Ooh lovely: new human! cried Misha, and wormed her way into his lap instanter. Sophie disapproved of such antics, and took up her regular position on my shoulders. The poor man was a little overwrought, I fear. The paper fell back on an old stock photo, but a while later I got a package in the post. Which is why I now have pictures of Sophie where she best belonged, and Mishie gazing enquiringly into a camera lens at very, very close quarters.

(laptop cameras take reverse images. You're looking at backwards lettering.)
