Well, that was a game, huh? So very glad I didn't have an emotional attachment to either team (or money on the game) because I was able to root for them both without hesitation -- if only to stop collecting so many penalties! I wonder how that game would have gone, if they'd been less sloppy. But still, any game with a 100 yard defensive touchdown is going to be one to remember...

And yeah, the Steelers won, but the Cards staged an impressive comeback in the second half, and it really could have gone either way, at the end. So, call it a Superbowl worth the watching.

And the chili seemed to go over well (it went), and Bruce rocked the halftime show, and everyone had a really good time, so yay! Kudos to the host & hostess, who open their home (and share their rockin' media system with us).

And now, to the Business of Monday. I was so tired I forgot to put water in the coffee machine when I turned it on. That's never good...

I wasn't so much that the teams were sloppy, it was that this officiating crew calls more penalties than any other crew. I hate watching games that they call. I didn't have a horse in the race, but it seemed to me they were just a bit tougher on the Cardinalis. A number of the pregame people said to expect a lot of penalties. I was surprised that the NFL let these guys near a game.

I DVR'd it so I can FF through the game to see the commercials and Bruce.

I *hate* the Steelers so I was rooting for the Cardinals ... but in the end I wasn't too disappointed. I'd been expecting the Cards to get crushed like bugs, and instead they made a (very good) game of it. That was about all I could ask for, really.

Mainly, I was just glad I didn't have to really care for a change. :)
