I'm at the 7ish year mark [not including the media tie-ins or pre-novel publications] and still feeling it's Best Possible Job, but I keep my hand in others things as well. As I posted over at the BVC blog this week, sitting at a keyboard 24/7 is a surefire way to burnout and brain death. Not recommended, no.
