There's a Double Sooper Sekrit way to get XP Pro on a new Dell.
It has to be on one of the business Latitudes (and maybe the semi-pro Vostros, didn't check), not the "personal" Inspirons, as near as I can tell, and you specify Vista Ultimate with XP Pro Downgrade Option.
IOW, there's a price to get it, but you *can* get it.
