I didn't say cost, I said overkill -- if the power had stayed out, I would have just gone to the local coffee shop or the bakery, and worked there all afternoon. I might maybe need an alternate source of juice once a year, if that. If the power's going to be out for more than a day, I'd pack up the cats and go stay with friends.
